Abbie and Eric treated their guests to an idealic weekend at Camp Wandawega. The festivities kicked off with a welcome dinner under the stars that even included a talent show! Abbie surprised her groom-to-be with the most beautiful song to finish the show! Guests enjoyed all of the amenities Camp Wandawega offers and then joined the couple for a unique ceremony on the Lake Wandawega dock. Abbie’s processional was via a flower adorned row boat with her mom by her side and her dad at the helm. The ceremony finished with a brass band playing New York, New York in honor of the city that the couple resides in.
A bit of rain didn’t damper anyone’s fun as the dinner was moved under a beautiful sail cloth tent. Rustic yet sophisticated place settings on wood harvest tables with vintage chairs was the perfect setting for an amazing dinner. Guests enjoyed a delicious menu from Underground Food Collective featuring local and seasonal items. Then dancing kicked off under a teepee structure with strung lights and touches of greenery. Guests sipped delicious cocktails and danced the night away. When amplified music was no longer permitted the party switched over to a silent disco and the guests danced until late into the night. The next day stared with brunch on the lawn and then swimming and fun in the lake until it was time for tacos from El Grito and a movie in the lodge. A perfect weekend in Wisconsin to celebrate an amazing couple!
