My daughter turned 6 years old this year and with her birthday so close to Halloween we figured what better way to celebrate than with a “Spooky Six” birthday party on Halloween. At this age its great to have a costume party for all the kids to come dressed up to and do fun fall activities like a hay ride or bobbing for apples. We made this party extra special with the menu having some spooky snacks! Banana ghosts and clementine jack-o-lanterns, witches brooms made out of string cheese, and nutter butter cookie ghosts – just to name a few! Guests took home a favor bag of popcorn with custom stickers by Tiny Prints. It was great to collaborate with Tiny Prints on this party as the invite, favor tags, even the thank you notes all completed the look of this spooktacular party! Even though it rained we still did a hay ride and I think in the end the cloudy misty day just complimented our spooky feel! The kids had a great time, especially coloring the custom coloring sheets we had Emily Balsley Illustration create for Payton’s party. Complete with a custom chalkboard drawing of Payton! All of the adults and kids dressed up and it was the perfect fall halloween party on the farm.
