Pantone named emerald the 2013 color of the year, so it comes as no surprise that brides are taking the vibrant jewel-toned hue and toning it down to a soft mint for their wedding. If you’re prepared to be in a committed, monogamous relationship with the color, wear a mint green wedding gown like the Elie Saab stunner pictured below. Conversely, you may prefer to only maintain a mild flirtation with the hue. If this is the case, it’s all in the details; try incorporating a mint tie for the groom or mint shoes for the bride.
